What Is Deep Roots Nutrition?

DRN is a place for those who are tired of the gimmicks in the fitness industry and want real and honest answers about what it takes to be healthy, happy and fit. If you have decided that your health and fitness is a priority then this community is for you. Anyone is welcome to follow along whether you’ve just embarked on your fitness journey, you’ve been at it for years or even if you are just interested in learning more about nutrition, health and fitness. Tune into the Deep Roots Nutrition Podcast to learn more about these topics and how to start making changes in your own life. I promise you’ll pick-up some new ideas along the way while being entertained at the same time. 1-on-1 Coaching

1-on-1 coaching is a great opportunity for you to get connected with Coach Joe in a deeper, more individual way. 1-on-1 coaching is built around frequent assessments of where you are as an individual and how to improve these areas of your life. 


What to expect:

  • An approach specifically tailored to you and your lifestyle, goals, and experiences.

  • Monthly check-ins virtually via zoom or phone call. 

  • Accountability and guidance from Coach Joe

“Going Deep” Program

Raise your hand if you’ve tried every diet out there. Keep your hand up if it worked. I would imagine most hands are down right now and that’s why you’re here reading this. Why is navigating your health and nutrition so difficult? The problem is the fitness industry is full of fake people trying to sell you the hope of the body you have always wanted and the health that seems to elude you in a quick and easy way. They take advantage of you by telling you you can have all the results you’ve ever wanted in a short amount of time without even trying. I am here to tell you that approach DOES NOT WORK and if you have yo-yo dieted before then you already know that. 


What does work is consistency, effort, and being resilient in the face of obstacles. This program teaches you how to do just that. How to change your insides (your behaviors) so you can change your outsides (your body). Over the course of the program you will learn new behaviors and habits that teach you HOW to eat, WHAT to eat and WHEN to eat. You will build confidence in yourself and your abilities to change and become the healthy and fit person you know you can be. The best part about it? The program is built on learning these habits in a sustainable way, so say goodbye to the yo-yo dieting. This program goes deeper than the surface and from start to finish the program lasts 12 months. If you want to make a change and I mean really want to make a change then you should expect to be in it for the long haul. Short and simple: if you can do this for a year, you can do it for a lifetime. 


What to expect:

  • Daily Lessons: Daily activities delivered through the program’s app that are focused on changing your nutrition and lifestyle one habit at a time. These can be read or listened to.

  • Community: You will be added to a facebook group with other individuals that are going through the program at the same time as you. This is a great way to connect, ask questions and share recipes or ideas with other like minded people. 

  • Coach Support: Coach Joe will be there every step of the way providing guidance and feedback as you face this journey head on. He will read all responses to the daily activity, check-in frequently and be available for any help needed while you go through the program.
